At the moment Instagram introduced the Instagram Live Producer feature for mobile users.
Creators can stream their contents from OBS or streamlabs desktop software.
However, mobile users could stream their content from instragram mobile app, and there was no option for desktop users. By introducing their Instagram Live Producer, creators can stream like other platforms Twitch and YouTube.

If creators want to add external microphones and cameras, there is an option. And also has a feature to add custom graphics, titles, and cards for the stream.
However, these are the recommended technical requirements for Instagram Live Producer tool.
Video Format
- 9×16 aspect ratio (recommended and not mandatory)
- Resolution: 720 x 1280
- Video bitrate range: 2,250-6,000 Kbps
- 480p @ 30fps, 360p resolution is supported but not recommended by Instagram.

- Channel layout: Stereo
- Bit rate: up to 256 Kbps
To use Instagram Live Producer, Go to insagram.com and then click "Add post" button, after that click "Live" from the dropdown menu, and next screen called "Go Live" you can add a title, selected audience, and click "Next" button.
